almost there!!! still firin through carb

Any ideas???

pulled the carb, and replaced the power valve.. still backfired through the carb, turned the mixture screws out and it decreased a bit (must of been lean).. but it still does it, not as bad but still there!!

could it be the outside temp and the jetting?????

coil prob was a disconnected wire!!
