![]() The other day going to work, I was following a black Z-28. He would jump on it and I would jump on it, nothing too serious. Then out of nowhere, another Z joined in on the fun. This one was white, and had some sort of "go fast" sticker on it. Well, we eventually headed out on the interstate. The three of us holding up traffic so we could line up. We were going about 35. I was in second gear ( cause first would have be nothing but smoke) and I took the jump. The black Z stayed with me, however the white one just sortof faded away( like they are supposed to

![]() I would say so. Gotta watch out those crazy people that start that zipping in an out of traffic. When they start that garbage, they can have it.
I was playing with a 98ish Firebird, up until he passed a honda accord on a double yellow line going up a hill. I just let him go. ------------------ 1997 Black Cobra Convertible. #2788 of 3088 Mostly Stock - Vortech Anyone? 1988 5.0 LX Convertible -Work Car...Few Mods. |

![]() He's probably on camaroz28.com bragging about smoking a cobra!! Some of these guys are convinced they'll never lose to a cobra so they can't accept it and have to do something dangerous to get ahead. What a loser!

![]() Another race and you did not tell me! Well
maybe I could find the guy and race him, then he'd be really p.o. because he got beat by a Cobra with a girl driving. My car never loses. ![]() Man Cobras are fast! One here runs 13.4's with gutted cats. You need to mod an LT1 to keep up with that! It comes with cross-drilled brakes too! I don't know why but I have that fixation on cross-drilled. I even have a set on my Civic! Seriously, it's so much safer!
Anyway, Cobras are sweet. |

![]() I lined up against a '95 Z-28 LT1 at HRP last Friday. He was heavily modded with heads, gears, exhaust, cam, drag radials and who knows what else. He ran 12.57 to my 14.08. Some of those Lt1's can be damned quick. That's the fastest one I've ever seen.

![]() it doesnt take much for a cobra to run 13.40s, a girls 99 cobra went 13.60 before the recall and 13.50 after, i'm sure with a couple more trips to the track it will get a better time...
from anyones experience, what does a stock 93 cobra run? the girl with the 99 has a cousin with a 93 cobra that is stock, maybe we should take it to the track... 2 fine cousins with cobras, that is nice ------------------ My slo aod- 3.73s, pullies, flowmasters, h-pipe, bbk cold air, and 13.42 in the 1/4 @ 103 mph |

![]() The newer stock cobra's have faster times
then the older stock ones. A 93 Stock is not going to run the same time as a 99+. And it all comes down to the driver. Personally, I like my Cobra better then a newer one, even though it is slower than the newer ones. [This message has been edited by WHITECOBRAGIRL94 (edited 05-25-2001).] |

![]() He11, give me an '01 2V with a Vortech S-Trim pumping out 14 psi, and I'll be satisfied. For now anyway. Later I'll have to have a 351 or better with the same blower. MORE POWER!!!
