think i can beet this car??

soposed to race this car as soon as i bolt in my new rear so i can run slicks
its a 70's NOVA
built 8k rpm 350 w/ holly proinjection
powerglide with transbrake
4link suspension, big ol slicks and full cage w/ gutted interior

i ran him once when i was on a regualr tire and he gave me 1 and the brake and he cought right up to me passed me then i hooked and he didnt pull anymore..this was only about an 1/8 mile and he had a car on me..now my car is running much better and i will have slicks so i think i might be able to take him..what do ya'll think..
