3g 150 amp upgrade
I was able to mount the 3g after grinding the stock bracket, but i'm not sure about the wiring. i was supplied with the plugs for the 3g and just connected everything as color coded, but the car won't start. does anyone know of a diagram for converting a stock '89 mustang alternator to the 3g 150 amp alternator? i connected both black and red wires to the stud and the green and yellow wires together, yellow-yellow and green-green. the white with black stripe doesn't seem to go anywhere. any suggestions?
