Solid motor mounts on a daily driver?
Does anyone here run solid motor mounts on your daily driver? Is there a lot of vibration, or none compared to the stock rubber motor mounts?

I've run solid motor mounts for years, both with 302's and now on my 377 stroker. No problem at all with them, and the vibration is minimal. I use the Auto Specialties billet aluminum ones.

What about these "drop mounts" I see for sale? If I got those, could I just bolt my 5-speed directly too the cross member and not have to use the transmission mount?
Any drawbacks or reasons not to run these "drop mounts"? |

Anyone used these shorter motor mounts before? Or heard anything about them?
