I can't remember where, but I saw a dyno number on ported E7's that showed a 23 HP increase over stock. Not sure on the intake though. There is an article in MM&FF this month that talks about the stock intake. I just can't remember any of the numbers they had pulled.

My car have 249 rwhp and 312rwtq. My upper is slightly ported ( i've only ported what was accessible with my die grinder). This spring, i will add longtube with x-pipe and maybe an extruded hone upper. I hope that those mods will gave me 10rwhp. My heads have the stock valves with hi lift spring. My car is speed density so maybe 5-7 rwhp less with mass-air (maybe more, but not sure)

The only way to fully port a stock upper is with extrude honing or cut it in half, either way, the cost would be the same as a Cobra intake, which with long/short runners would be better than the ported stocker.
I'm not going to comment on the E7's, because i always get slammed.

the stock intake will flow pretty well if you know what do do..the lower intake is the restrickion..open that up or buy a holly systemmax 1 lower intake..then you can have the upper extrude honed if you wish..every bit helps
to give you an idea of how our "stock" appearing car(the money maker) does..try high 12's on a all season tire..it still has a stock intake/massair/tb..only mods to car are ederbrock heads,b-303,3.73's, full exhaust..car goes mid 11's on slicks and 125shot.. so there is hope in the stock intake the way it sits..altough most people will tell you otherwise i suggest getting heads b4 you buy a intake
