![]() For the '99 - Trans: auto or manual?
Either way, here's my recogmendation that'll put those LS1's in the rear veiw: * 4:10 gears (~$200-400 - depending if you can install them or not) * offroad mid pipe (~$200-300) * catback (~$250-450) * Nitrous (~$600+) * drag radials (~$300+)

![]() I would dump all the cash into the 5.0 and leave the 99 stock. A daily driver anjd a race car is an ideal set-up.

![]() As stated above, If your staying around 2K then nitrous is the only answer! Nice blower and all the works will do it, but will set you back much more, 3 - 5 K Min......

![]() Have to agree, it's far more cost effective to invest in the 5.0L.
The 99 is still a capable car but without NX as an option ... it will cost $$$. 91LX2Bfast gave you a good list. |

![]() If you just want an LS1 kilr, then Nitrous will do it man
![]() In the 99, just gets gears, exhaust, and maybe a good CAI and a tune. And the driver mod should set you at mid 13's man ![]() In the 89, do a bit more if you're willing to man. You should be able to find some GT-40 heads for probably $450, and a good intake for $300-, then install that cam, some gears, and exhaust ![]() :disclaimer: Without the driver mod, NO mods will give you an LS1 killer ![]() -Will
