What can I run w/traction??
I ran a couple passes at the track on the weekend and the best time I could muster was 14.1 at 100mph with a 2.25 best 60ft time. If I was to bolt on some slicks could I get my 60ft times into the 1.9's??? The other thing that freaks me out is my MPH was 97.5 on a couple passes and I thought I hurt my engine, but could this be related to my poor 60ft times???(2.5-2.75)

13.6-13.7 on slicks with a hard launch. No problem

a general rule is that for every 1 tenth you improve on your 60ft, your ET will drop 2 tenths.
So drop it to 1.90, and you should see somewhere around 13.4-13.5 What is your launch technique? It is possible to get those kind of 60ft times with a good driver and a sticky track on regular radials. When my car was a mid 13second car, I went 1.9's on a fairly well prepped track with stock size 225/60 tires. with no changes except for practice, your car should be a mid 13 second car easily. good luck, -Drew
