I'm not, but I heard that Kansas is flatter than a pancake. Really.

I grew up around KC, Missouri. But, I am in school now at Mizzou. I have seen a few other memebers from around the KC area, but don't remember who.

I'm from Enid. I went up to Ark City for the Nostalgia's last year, but I won't make it this year. It was a good time, except for the damn headwind and a friend getting a DUI in town. A bunch of my friends from Enid are supposedly going again this year.

No there aren't too many fast cars on the street anyway. A solid 12sec car would win alot of street races around here.

For those going to the show, the drag strip will not be open (or at least I wouldn't plan on it being open). It has been a REAL mess down there.

What's up with the track not being open? Weather or something else?

Definitly "something else". Mainly poor, poor management. Trust me, its a mess without going into a lot of detail. Looks like the attorneys are hashing it out now.
I am sure it will re-open, no doubt about that. I would guess it wont re-open this year though.

Legal problems over timing equipment??? Well, I guess my friends from Enid won't be heading there.
fastas69, thanks for the info. Nostalgias is a good time, plus it's only an hour or so from home. Oh well, I wasn't gonna make it back to the states for it anyways. Jim
