Lifespan of 2000 Mustang
New to the site and board, probably should have done this awhile ago, but here is my question. I have an unaltered 2000 Mustang 3.8 engine with 80k miles on it. How much longer do you guys think it will run without serious maintenance issues? So far I have not had to do anything out side of regular maintenance...which I get done regularly.
What kind of miles are you guys pushing? Thanks. |

AFter awhile you will have to change the timing chaing, and replace a couple of things but this engine is good for 200,000+.
