What tranny for 460?
Gentelmen and Ladies alike, I need some advise. Toying with the idea of putting a 460. What transmission options do I have? I would like to stick with an auto and get OD as well.

Two auto tranny options. I like the first cjoice, but no OD a C-6. Built right, they're virtually indestructable. Next choice would be an AODE. Basically uses same size clutches as the c-6 but heavier material. Personal opinion, they're not as tough as a C-6. My 95 e-350 super duty has a 460 roller motor and an AODE. Running at approx. 5 tons and 250-400 miles a week city driving, it lasts about 75000 miles. I've had two rebuilds in 168,000 miles.
