Just A Little More 'power'
HI GUYS
I OWN A '66, 289cid Convert. with a 3 speed manual with single exhaust and no A/C of which I'm going to put in durning this coming yr. I want just a little more POWER PLEASE. WHAT WOULD YOU GUYS SUGGEST. I'll not racing or trying to beat everyone in the streets trying to beat the next guy off a traffic light. JUST A LITTLE MORE POWER THAT ALL I WANT Let me please run this by you guys. Here's what I think I'd need to accomplish my goal. 1~ DUAL EXHAUST: I WANT A DEEP THROATY TONE. ( ANY SUGGESTIONS ON THE BRAND OF MUFFLERS ) 2~ A LARGER CHROME ALTERNATOR, SAY OVER 70 to 100 amps. ( ANY SUGGESTIONS ON THE BRAND AND WHERE TO BUY IT ) 3 ~ A SOLID STATE VOLTAGE REGULAR, ABOUT 125 AMPS. ( AGAIN, ANY AND ALL SUGGESTIONS ON BRAND AND WHERE TO BUY IT ) I believe I'll need this electrical stuff to carry the load when I have the A/C on with my lights on and the radio playing. What do you guys think I know I need a LARGER RADIATOR. Don't know how BIG or should it be an ALUMINUM ONE So that's about it fellows. ANY AND ALL HELPFUL SUGGESTIONS ABOUT GEARING UP MY CAR WITH A LITTLE BIT MORE POWER WILL BE GRATEFUL APPERICATED. GOD BLESS YOU ALL. SCHOONER |
