I am new to building,a 347 ,Just wondering if anyone out there has any opinions on them.or anything I may need to know durring the build?

there is a ton that u need to know, u can build it ten diff ways.u gotta figure out if ur gonna drive it alot or if its gonna be a track car.ps if u have a stock tranny u will need to up grade it cuz it will blow up.u can go mild or wild u just gotta figure out how u want it to be and what u wanna exspect outta it

Thank you goodyear.I am almost done building it now,I used a kit from eagle with keith black pistons,my budget is used up now so I am using my e cam,e7 heads,edelbrock performer intake,650 holley double.I was hopping for a 12.8 run quater mile time.but I want to drive to the store too on sunday.does anyone have any mileage on their 347 I heard its not a long life engine.

hey well the first thing is most people that say they dont last are people that have never had one.i met a guy that had 77k on his.but it also matters how u drive it...
its really gonn hurt u having the e7 heads and a e cam.but u can always go bigger later.a nice set of afr185's,victor jr,holley 750,600+lift solid roller low 11s high10s

347 is alive....finally...I like it!!,not sure what rpms this can take?,shift at 5000 rpm rate now everything is new I dont want it to blow up just yet..when should I head for the track?
