Default Need help

I recently removed my stock upper intake to put some new valve cover gaskets on and when re installing the stock intake I broke a vacum line that faces towrds the front of the engine bay, looks like it went to the smog pump area or that carbon box but anyways I just blocked that line off with like a little black nipple and my car seems to idle better now, anything wrong with doin that. Also anyone ever install door hinge kits cause mine are saggin and the doors need to be lifter a little to shut all the way

Hey Scrapla, It goes to the carbon canister which pulls the vapors out of the gas tank. You may have some problems trying to fill tank on a hot day. I would hook it back up. I live in FL too and because its hot here all the time ive kept mine hooked but took all other stuff off.
