I'm thinking about putting 4.30 gears in my car. I see that you are running 4.30's, how many rpm's are turning in the 1/4? Also are you using 26" tires or 28" tires.

Dude you are gonna have to change that name. With the 26s at 108mph it is around 5000 if I remember right, on the juice 111mph and on the rev limiter as I cross, so that would be 6250rpms.
I put the 28"s on last night, I will run next week and post the runs, better or worst.

I have basiclly the same combo as you except I'm running the stock cam, 1.7 rockers, and my car weight's 3100lbs with me in it. Is there away to bypass the factory rev limiter that's fairly cheap? I also have NOS on the car. (125hp)
O' about the name, my car always seem to be apart so people around here starting referring to me as Blownup5.0. I've only got to make it to one race in the past year and a 1/2. That was Fun Ford last year at Bristol TN. Hell come to to think of it I've only got to race the car twice in the past 2 and a 1/2 years, Bristol last year and the NMRA race at Silver Dallor in GA. the year before. (I won that event in the Bracket 3 class)

My best run has been 13.50 @ 105.7 with a 2.0 60ft. That was with the stock 2.73 gears. Since then I've put 1.7 rockers on it, longtubes, MSD 6AL box, NOS, and I have removed the A/C, smog pump and power steering. I ran the 13.50 on motor and the car weighted 3250 with me in it. The car may weight less then 3100lbs now since I have removed all that stuff(the 3100 is just a guess).
