Angry Please Help!!

Just a few months ago you guys helped me with the problem I was having with my wife's 2000 Explorer (multi-function switch). Well now it's having trouble starting. It turns over fine, it just seems like there's no spark or fuel. I called the dealership and some guy told me to put my foot all the way down on the accelerator and see if it starts and it did. He then told me it needs a tune-up. That would be fine but this truck only has 24,000 miles on it? I change the oil ever 3,000 miles and use STP Super Concentrated Injector cleaner at every oil change. What do you guys think? Should I break down and change my cap, rotor and plugs?? It just seems too early for a tune-up. Please help!!

It is a good idea to change plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, rotor button, and check timing (if applicable) every 30k. Even the fuel filter wouldn't hurt.

I would guess it is the fuel filter. 24,000 miles on one is too many. They say every 6,00 u should change one. the cap and rotor are fine till 50,000. Maybe some new spark plugs now. About 25,000 for those.
