FORD V.S. chevy

Ok i'm a junior in high school and this guy at my high school thinks his camaro is faster then mine he keeps telling everybody that and i know ford power is got to be more superior so here it goes. He has a 87 camaro 5.0tpi with a shift kit auto and full exhaust thats it and a cowl hood. I have a 91 gt 5.0 with 3:55,racecraft springs,g-load brace,strut tower brace,190lph fuel pump,fuel pressure reg,pulleys,dynomax cat back,mac headers, and a stock tranny though now will i beat him or what guys.Thanks.

Heck yes, you'll KILL him. They only make 190 hp stock. Go whoop his ***

even with my limited experience i'd say he's toast. I had a 90 model 305 camaro and it was sloooooooooooow and it was practically new at the time. I liked the car but it was no performer.

I can tell you this, you will smash him, just make sure you dont fry bad out of the hole.

This race is a given, with your stuff, I'd take on an LT1.

The only 305 Camaro's you have to even worry about are the 90 and 91 5 speed TPI with the 1LE option. Those pushed out 230 hp and ran mid to low 14's ( I saw a autoweek get a 13.9 from one can you say Ringer!)

Those cars slow down plenty over time, go smoke his but at the track. I smoked a Firebird Formula with a 305/Auto even with NOS!! And I only ran a 15.0 ( it was my 3rd pass ever with my new 91 LX) I eventually ran a 14.89 stone stock and beat a Nova that ran a 14.6 cus I smoked him at the light!
