Default phenolic spacer

i have a phenolic spacer 3/8" on my stock 90. will this cause issues with my stock hood? just want to make sure before i put it on. will the hood close?

I believe that size fits fine. You could use some play-do on top of the intake to see if it is going to hit.

I happen to have a friend with a stock motor except for a 3/8 spacer and he has no problems

You probably don't need this info anymore, but I'll put here in case anybody else might need it in the future:

I've got a 3/8 spacer with an SVT Motorsports intake, which alone is over an inch taller than stock, and I'm right at the hood. You should be able to get away with 1" spacer on a stock intake.
