![]() I read that you need tubes for the MT ET STREET slicks. But my friend said that you dont please help me I need tires for my new rims. weld draglights 15 by 10

![]() Yes and no I have done both. If you run them without tubes they will leak a little air. I would notice about a week later that they would be flat. If you have a spare set of rims and don't race all the time I would put them on tubless and forget about. I would also like to add that I noticed no difference on my 60ft times.

![]() FWIW a guy I see at the track frequently does use tubes in his MT ET Streets. On the other hand, a guy that I was at Norwalk FFW with, did not use them - this was on a 9 sec LX!!! He said to use a sealant of some sort on the rim and you should be fine.
I'm looking to get a set of these tires too and am wondering what to do as well. FYI - MT's website recommends that use of tubes in these tires. Anyone else? E

![]() I run them tubeless,with no air loss at all,they are on draglite rims,no probelms....

![]() i have run them both ways i think the tubes are a waste of money i personally think they prohibit the tire from crinkling the side wall thus causing less traction i have never had any trouble not using the tubes even at 12-15psi at the track i would suggest if you use them on your daily driver to mount them on a spare set of wheels because if you get caught in the rain with them your screwed.
