my msd blaster coil works excellent, but gives off a high pitched humm that drives me nuts sometimes! I think any high voltage coil will do the trick....

Default PS-91

dragstang86-
That sucks that your Crane coil went out on you. I've been running a PS-91 coil along with the Crane HI-6 for several years now with no complaints. I have an extra PS-91 coil for sale for $40 + shipping. It is off of my wife's Mustang that we sold a while back. It is in real good condition. It was only on her car for about a year. If you are at all interested, let me know.

simi, I'm not trying to screw up your sale but he can buy a brand new one for about $46 you might want to adjust your price.

and if you buy from Summit they'll let you return or exchange even though it's an electronic device. They're cool like that.

A brand new Crane coil for $46??!! Wow, I need to check prices more often. When I bought them several years ago...they were like $70-$80 a piece at my local speed shop. Thanks for filling me n though lx5091. Good to know.

Default PS-91

I had to check out summit to see the price for myself. Couldn't find a price on the Ford PS-91...but the chevy ones are $48.95. Man I feel dumb. It's great to see prices for performance parts actually going down over the last few years! So I'll go down to $30 shipped for the coil if anyone is interested.

If it was my money, I'd get a PS91. Excellent coil with quality craftsmanship. MSD coils usually work, but more often than not, they buzz. For that reason, I try to avoid them. Mallory products suck, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

I'd go with a PS91.
