Default GT40P heads

I have an oppertunity to get a set of late model explorer heads for really cheap. Does anyone know how to identify these heads to make sure they're the right ones. I believe the part number cast into the underside of the intake runner is F7TE which would mean a 97 cylinder head right? Are there any other markings on the heads to tell if it's the GT40P or not? Should I get out a caliper and measure the valves to make sure and things like that? Thanks guys.

If I remember correctly, on my heads there is a letter P printed on the top of the head just beside where the valve cover would bolt on. In the top front where the accessory bolts are you should see the 'P' marked. At least my GT-40P heads are like this. Also, the plug angles are totally different on the P heads.

Here is a good website I found a while back regarding the "P" heads. It also has identification section.
