Black is the coolest color for hot rods, and woman love it. Hot Red..?..please think carefully before u go red.

I would stick with a basic paint job, in case you ever need to repaint in the future (accident, ding, dent,etc..) cutom paint is expensive and impossible to match, so youll be painting the whole car again.

I went with Orange, but they don't give that paint away - If you know what you are doing you only need about 3-4 quarts of base... Make sure you or the person doing it puts a flex-agent in the paint.. Front/Rear covers look like **** when they crack

Do what he said! My front cover is cracked like a b1tch and it looks like sh1t. I would say get blue or green, but thats just what i like. Get what you like, but my biggest suggestion would be stay away from things like Arrest Me Red, Ticket Me Yellow, and Jail Me Orange.

BowTie is a body shop apprentice working for his dad. He can actually do the work.

I think keeping to a basic, solid color is a good idea. Don't go so wild that you are afraid to drive the car because of the paint job. Besides, didn't you want the sleeper look? Wouldn't it be really silly to put a lot of graphics on a car with a stock engine?

So, where does Silver paint stack up in the price of paint? I just bought a 92 LX that is dark blue. I'm thinking of going Silver, with silver Cobra R's.

Thanks

That and red can hide a 2x4 under the finish. Hehehe.

That being said, blue is my color of choice. Followed by green, teal (93 Cobra's look awesome in that color), black, white, red, yellow.

For the fox's as a general rule, anyway.

I like it, but i would advise against it, as i said above, simply because it is so eye catching. I would rather not attract attention when i don't want it. You could go brown the least number of cars pulled over are brown.

I would personally paint it the original color. Why draw attention to your car from thieves and even police?.The factory colors can look pretty sharp when done right.

I think those statistics are all wrong on what color car gets pulled over more. I just wonder how accurate it is. If you look at it this way...
There are probably more red cars on the road than anything else. And there are probably less brown cars on the road than anything else. So, if there are 100 cars in a given stretch of road how many of those do you think are going to be brown? Do you see where I'm coming from here? If 50% of the cars on the road are red, wouldn't it seem that approximately %50 of the tickets handed out would be to people driving a red car?

I have a red Stang and have had my share of encounters with the police, but I drive like a maniac according to my friends so that's a given. I have actually had less tickets in this car than any other car I have owned and this is my first red car. I have had numerous cars, one being an all white 67 Chevelle SS. I got more tickets in that car than any other.

In other words Bowtie... paint the car any color you want. It doesn't matter what other people like in that respect because it's your car. I'd stay with the red and do a ghost flame on it with about 500 flames. Do it with a pearl so only part of the flames show up at different viewing angles. If done correctly the flames will appear to move when the car drives by

ok, this is the last chance i have, monday mornong the inners are getting painted,

after a day of looking, i have narrowed it down to performance red, or vermilion red.

to see a gt with performance red www.ssp-racing.com

dan mcclains car is vermillion, go to projects, or under the users rides, i really have to decide now, i cant though, this poll will determine the color of it, so i need your opinions.

thanks
