dude, you can try replacing your cable, but the self adjusting mechanism we have in our cars go bad, if you pull up on the pedal and it clicks, and takes out slack, then it works.
but even then, they dont hold up well to stiff heavy duty, or race clutches, i bought a firewall adjuster for pedal height, and an aluminum quadrant, the cable i had with the kit broke/stretched, so i put my stock cable back in, now i like the pedal feel, but the clutch is toast now due to other reasons The quadrant goeas under the dash, and it is a pain in the @#% to get to, but i did it in about an hour, just take out your front seat, and get under there with a flashlight. hope that helps....

clutch??
yes the quadrent and pal suck i just put a new one in about a mounth ago now so that is good on my car and as for pulling up the pedal u can't b/c the guy that owned the car befor did something stupid so now you must adjust it by F***ing hand. i have had it all the way to the bottom of the quadrent and so on it just wont set?
so do you think maybe its the cable?? and what if i just got the adjuster at the firewall you think that would work ?? anything will help |

I would lean toward saying it's prolly the quadrant also. if you get a new quadrant I would get the firewall adjuster also b/c it is so much easier to adjust the clutch when you don't have to crawl under the car.
