alright, i got the t5 out to change the clutch. Every once in a while, but rarely, the car will pop out of second gear on a downshift or not go into gear when I go from first to second. Is this just the synchronizer? and if so, how hard is it to fix? I was thinking about getting one of those T5 rebuild gets. how difficult is this? Sorry about all the questions but i want to do it while Ive got the tranny out,

I would HIGHLY recommend you spend $20 for Hanlon Motorsports video on rebuilding the T5 - it will save you time, money, and mistakes. RTebuild kits are about $160 from them too.

My car had the problem with 2nd and the occasional not wanting to go into 3rd from 2nd and it turned out to be the syncros, had it rebuilt for about $350 and works like new so check out all your options.

Tell me how that rebuild goes and where you get a video if you do get one cause I have a garage and a nice workspace to attempt the rebuild.
