Vacum pump setups?
I was looking at the GZmotorsports street/strip kit but was looking to see how others have theirs setup? Driver side, pass side, upper or lower mount? Would like to keep the serpentine belt system and I only have the Altenator, and Power steering mounted on both sides in the upper positions and water pump with pulley. If anyone has some pics of their setup please post if you can. thank you for any help.

Re: Vacum pump setups?
I didn't get any pics, but I put a stock Ford air pump in the stock 302 smog pump location.
That thing pulled way too much air, which brought alot of oil with it. I have not given up on the idea of a crankcase evac pump, but now am leaning more toward using a GM e- pump for this purpose. No power lost at the crank, and the e- pumps pull more appropriate amounts of air. jason

Re: Vacum pump setups?
Thanks for the reply vristang. Thats were I am looking at mounting the pump too the problem is I dont use the large bracket that holds the alt. and smog pump anymore I have been using a march alt. bracket so trying to see if it can be mounted without the old bracket system. It looks cleaner without it. There is a good article at dragstuff.com on vac. pumps if your interested Jason. Thanks again for the reply.
Mike
