				 | Explorer intake swap, fuel rail issues I have never posted before, so go easy here. I bought an Exploder intake upper and lower. I put my stock fuel rail on, and the intake is hitting the FPR. I can't tell if its one of the 20thousand vacume lines, or the upper itself. So anyone have some suggestions besides just a spacer? Maybe a picture or two. I have a question about the correct direction of the rail. I put this whole car together from parts. The book doesn't show the topend of the motor clearly. Thanks for any replys. Jay |

				 | Re: Explorer intake swap, fuel rail issues The intake should work fine. The fuel rail is a 80's 5.slow off a crown vic I guess, cause the fpr was on the wrong side. But thanks for the reply anyhow, even if it was telling me nothing. I just replaced it with a aeromotive setup. Sure the exploder intake is junk for most, But it is ported and ported more. Its a single 90mm turbo set up, its set to run 31psi. So it doesn't have to do much work. |
