gas tank
I am continuing with an engine swap, from a 2.3l to a 5.0l. I am buying a wrecked car and transfering everything. I was wondering do I need to change the gas tank ( fuel lines, fuel pump, etc.)

i've done several 5.0 swaps always into older carbed cars or turbo cars & have had to swap tanks & lines. if you are swapping into an 87 or newer you mite be able to use the tank however you will need to swap the pump. alder cars used smaller tanks you will need to get creative to install the larger one if the car is pre 84ish. it is a worthwhile swap.. persevere through all the small obstacles it is worth it...ps i always use the harness that goes to the taillites & tank as well. you need to swap the dash or at least the harness in the dash...it is easier to swap the whole thing...make sure to swap the front brakes & lines too
