I have just recently got my 89 GT back from the engine shop. The timing and fuel pressure were not set correctly as far as I know. What should I set the timing and fuel pressure at. I have a 306 with a B cam GT40 Y303 Aluminum heads with 1.72 roller rockers, ported, polished, and bigger valves. I have a GT40 intake port matched to the heads. I have a 77mm MAF calibrated for 24 lb injectors and a 65mm throttle body. I have long tube headers, and a Mac off road pro chamber H-pipe. i had the stock timing set at 14 degrees above tdc, but I am not sure what to set the timing at now or what fuel pressure I should run. I still have the stock EEC, but I'm getting that reprogrammed in a week, is ther any way i can get it to run halfway decent until then?

I have nearly the same setup, just TFS heads and a 73mm MAF...but I run 43psi@idle via a 225lph/pump and Kirban FPR. 14* BTDC works good with my B303 cam to keep the idle happy. I have had it up 18* but it is not worth doing that to the motor for such a minor gain in performance. Just my opinion...
