			 About 6 mths ago i purchased a Holley blue electric fuel pump for my Carbed 82. When i bought it i told them i planned on nitrous and all the other things and they said it would work great with nitrous and all that stuff. Well now im looking at a 200hp NitrousWorks kit and i just wanted to see what everyone on here had to say. The nitrous isnt going to be used much. 			 I was told this by a racer at fun ford in gainsville that run close to 800 HP nos.  If the pump can keep at least 6 psi to the fuel side on the plate, while wide open spraying fuel, and filling the carb, you're good.  If not, dont chance it.  He suggested like a B&G 210. 			 Thats what ive heard. originally i thought i could just have it go straight into the solenoid from the pump and just use one regulator for the carb but i think i have another regulator in the garage that i can use.

			 For my 351-W with nitrous, I ran a hollwy blue from the sump in my tank.  Spilt the 1/2" aluminum line with a "Y"-block.  One regulator for the Holley 780 and one for the Nitrous solenoid.

			 Id probably see about getting that off of you but it would probably cost nearly as much to get it across into Canada as it would to buy some new stuff. But i plan on a fuel press gauge and ive been thinking of getting a A/F ratio gauge but ive heard they arent very good.  And it will probably be about a month till the NOS goes in because i want to get some of the safety things for it (low oil press and low fuel press shutoff). Plus i have to figure out how to stop my fuel system from vapor locking. The pressure drops sometimes and i think its because i dont have a return anymore. 			 I went through a few holley blue pumps... but they always started leaking... so I got a mallory comp 250... alot quieter than the blue... 
		
	
		
		
		
		
		
		
			is the pump lower than the gas tank? you shouldnt be getting vapor lock...

			 The pump is bolted to teh outside of the spare tire hole. Im trying to figure out where else i can mount it but i havent had much luck. Im thinking about between the bumper and the chassis and doing a sump but that could be kinda high up. And yeah i noticed that the blue pump is fairly noisy and the first one i got leaked out the bottom plate. I got it replaced and it doesnt leak but its still fairly noisy. 			 Im not sure where you mean to put it. Like i said, right now its bolted to teh spare tire hump under the car. the pump is nice and out of the way but some of the lines are fairly close to the rear end when it moves. i thought it would be perfect if i could put it in front of the rear bumper that way with the rear sump it just goes right to the pump and doesnt have to weave around anything.

			I pulled into the garage and decided to pop the hood and check the fuel press. well it was bouncing around alot then it dropped to 1 psi. I turned off the car and kept the pump running and it was still at 1 psi. its not leaking anywheres and the pump is running its just not pumping anything. Whats the deal. The pump is only like 7 mths old. I was hoping to get my car out to the track tommorow but if i dont have fuel pressure its not gonna happen. Please help ASAP

			I'm just jinxed with holley blue pumps I guess..but if they sat for a month, they started leaking... my mallory sat for a year with gas in it.. no leaks... and still worked great...all billet too... I'm going to buy a 2nd one.. ;-)

			 also, spend the extra cash(not alot) and get a low fuel pressure cut off for the nitros.  That way if fuel pres. falls below 4 psi, it will cut of and maybe save the engine from harm

			 Thats exactly what i was planning to do. I was lookin at the nitrous works booklet and they have a safety setup so that if either the oil pressure of fuel pressure drop below a certain level it kills it. Im not in any hurry to get the nitrous on the car so i plan on taking my time and getting the little things that might save my engine if something happens.
