I'm not towing a boat or anything but I just wanted to know what is a good combination of parts to build a street only high torque motor with a stock block (heads, manifold, cam, exhaust, MAF, TB etc). RPMs would be between 1500-5500 or so. Tranny is a stock T-5 with 3.55 gears. Any other info needed? Thanks. Or should I just say, screw it and get a Kenne-Bell 6# positive supercharger...

For a lot of torque you are either going to need more cubic inches or forced induction. If you just want a good streetcar with instant torque available at low rpms I'd go with a roots blower like you mentioned.

Nitrous would do that for you for a cheap initial investment.
