				 | Glad to see a new face, so to speak. My daily is 93 ex cop car. Fun as hell. The not so daily are my wifes 67 ranchero with a 460, and my 66 comet with a 351w. So far, I win the family races, but there's a EFI and a turbo going on the ranchero soon, might not beat that. Personaly, I like the 70's looking hood, with twin scoops on it. Don't know what there called or who makes em.

				 | I think the Mach 1 hood looks best on the newer mustangs. I think that is the one gofastmercury is talking about cuz it looks like i came off the early 70 mach 1s. Nice to see someone new in the classics forum. YOu have some nice cars there. I drive a 97 f 150, a 69 428 cobra jet, and a 91 gt. The truck gets the most work the 69 isn't taken out very much never in the winter months it can't stand the cold

				 | Just finishing up a restoration on my 1970 Stang conv. Boss351 under the hood, modified FMX (yeah I know, I'm trying to beat it to death so I can go with a beefed up AODwith a transbrake), and a 9inch limited slip with 3.89's out back. All I need is the paint! Candy apple red, is there another color for a conv? |

				 | In the sig! BTW, my vote is for the Mach 1 hood....but its a close one, those cowl 3' hoods do look mean on a fox body.

				 | Cobra R hood with SVO scoop is the best looking fox body hood by far.

				 | My daily driver is a red 93 Lightning. I have a 70 fastback that is in need of a motor, and I race a 69 fastback that has gone a best of 6.18 @ 110 mph in the 1/8 (should put it around 9.80 in the qrtr). |

				 | I personally like the Mach 1 hood, but I'd paint the center flat black around the openings (see the latest mm&ff -red lx). Not crazy about any cowl hood higher than 1.5". And I think the Cobra hood looks strange on a Fox (the hood has more curves than any part of a fox body). Any of the more aggressively styled hoods, just tend to look ricey IMO.
