can 91 cobra tail lights fit a 88 cobra?

i'm looking at this 88 cobra GT, but i dont like the tail lights, can the newer style 91 tail lights fit in? and does an 88 cobra have the front fog lights in the ground effect?? thanx alot!!

I changed my '88 GT taillights to '93 Cobra ones. I also did not like the looks of mine. I believe they're all interchangeable from '87 to '93.

do they just swap in and out or do you need to change mounting hardware, harnesses, etc?

I thought the Cobra wasnt introduced until '93?

maybe a clone?....seen many "cobra" fox body stangs out there that look legit.

In Canada, most GT's from 86-92 were called cobras but it was just a sticker package. I'm betting this is the case.
