![]() Anyone have any info on a 1984 Mustang "L" ---Not an LX just an "L"... Has 5.0 and a 5 speed.... Looking to buy it.... I've never heard of the "L"--just the LX ...Could this be a Limited edition??? The 5.0 has a 4 bbl carb and what looks like late '80's factory headers....
Thanks for any info Dan

![]() The Mustang L was the base model and most of them were 4 bangers, a 5.0 Mustang L may actually be pretty rare.

![]() The Mustang L only came in the 2 door coupe or "trunk model" as some call them. There was the L, the LX and the GLX. The 5.0 Mustang L was a favorite of the Police and Highway Patrol persuit cars. No frills, just a basic Mustang with a 5.0 engine, all business.
