				 |  351W guys..what exhaust??? MAC makes a total 3" exhaust for a 351..is 3" 2 big???the MAC headers come to a 3" collector..all thier others are 2 1/2"..it wont bolt up to my full mac exhaust i have now will it??..also i am running a c-4..does a c-4 sit wider than my tremec so that i would need special 351 headers??? my mods to motor will be a comp cams 282 grind(.565/.574), afr 185 heads, victor JR intake and a 750 demon carb ..i was looking to run about 10.5:1-11.5:1 compression ------------------ 1987 black notch(ex 4 banger) DSS 306 w/ main support...Elderbrock 6028 heads..gt-40 intake..24# injectors...70 mm tb..77 pro-m...accel 300+..mac full legnth..tremec w/ pro5oh...full MAC exhaust,off road h-pipe,long tubes, catback...ron davis radiator..subframes, control arms...CFDF II..o yea holley FPR sucks..dont buy one.. AIM=onesillynotch   |

				 |   You need at least 1 5/8" primaries on your headers with 3" collectors.  After that, I'd say 3" would be the way to go.  If you want to go smaller, I'd say 2 1/2" is the limit.  So either one of those, 2 1/2" or 3". 				 |   either www.magnaflow.com  or www.dynomax.com  has a chart for engine size and horsepower and what size single or dual exhaust you should run for that size and power. |
