Gear swap in an F150.
Hey,
I was wanting to get some input from anyone who has put 4.10's in their late model mustang with an auto tranny. I am trying to decide between 3.73's and 4.10's. I have heard from a stang owner with a manual it was a hassle to shift through in town. I have an auto and don't know how it will shift with the 4.10 to overdrive. Thanks. |

He probably meant it was a hassel because with the 5-speed and 4.11 it's basicly vroom=clutch-shift-vroom-clutch-shift-vroom-clutch-shift. It's sometimes just a pain in the butt.
However with a automatic you should have no problems. Many people on this board run 4.11 with autos and have no problems.
