Default Drag Struts vs. 4 cyl.

Hey guys, My small block car is a factory 4 banger. I am swaping the rear to the 8.8 obviously. My question is wheather I should use the 4 banger springs and struts in the front or buy drag stuff. What do you think. The car has brand new struts on it so I hate to waste them if I can use em.

Thanks
Brad

They do work, but on faster cars the 4 cylinder struts can tend to "bounce". The 90/10's go up quickly, and come down slowly, keep the weight transfered to the rear. The 4 cylinder struts go back down about as quickly as they come up.

Default Thanks Guys

Thanks Guys,I guess I'll be buying a set of drag sttruts and shocks. 90/10's and 50/50's. Who do you recommend other than Lakewood. They are just the only company I know of (and I dont know much about this) that make them.

A good freind of mine ran the 4 banger springs w/ some cheap shocks and struts and ran deep into the 9's on a 10.5" tire. It does work
