				 | '96/97 Vs. '98 Why is it that the '98 GT is rated 10 HP more than the '96/'97's? Is because of an exhaust difference? Because the exhaust kit for a '98 is different.

				 | EEC has a hotter tune and mid 98+ Romeo heads are missing a shroud next to the exaust valve. The exaust on the 98 is different because of the tail pipe routing near the gas tank, that's why the 98+ has a different part number (no performance gain over the other) than the 96-97 Stang.

				 | Just wondering, did you powerbrake and raise the RPM's when launched? If not, try it next time...helps your time a little.

				 | Of course. I may be a "newbie" but I know how brake torque the car. I launched at around 2100 RPM. Off the line is not a problem, I ran 2.19 60 ft. The Non-PI 2V just doesn't make enough power to keep pulling hard past half-track.
