In May I flipped my 90 Corvette into an irrigation ditch, I had to break the drivers side window to get out since the doors wouldn't open. I was only in about 2 1/2 feet of water so I wouldn't have drowned, but I didn't know that when I was trying to get out of my car, was coming in and all I could see through the windows was murky water. When I finally got out there were three people standing on the bank of the ditch. ONe of said I'm glad you got out because we didn't know what to do if you hadn't. Hopefully they would have thought of something if I had been underwater long enough.

About a month ago my dad knew a guy who killed in his stealth when he flipped it into a 6 inches of water and drowned because he got knocked unconcious. His friend was saved by other motorists before he drowned. I am very glad I was wearing my seatbelt and did not get knocked unconcious in my accident.

The closest I been to death, that I care to talk about, was when I was driving my dad's old 87 F-150, I had a blow out which caused me to hit a ditch, slide sideways, and hit a curb nearly fliping the truck. Scared the crap out of me!!!

i had fallen straight on my back from about 8 feet in the air sliding down on a pulley and wire. thought i had broken something but didn't just couldn't breathe right for about a half hour

Driving to work in the rain on I-95 my car started to slide a bit , i'm going 55 at the time, then i caght a pocket of water and it caused my car to whip around 360 style 3 times in morning traffic. came to a stop off the road in a foot deep of sugar sand.

when i was 11, 3 friends and i were walking to my house in the dark. it was a full moon so it wasn't any big deal. we lived out in the farms (woods) at the time. The roads were all light dirt or sand. anyway we were walking and we noticed something starting to cross the road. we stopped because it was farely large in size. we watched it crossing and it suddenly stopped. We then heard something like a snort or growl or what have you and we all freaked and took off to one of the friends house we had just left cause it was closest. we heard this thing snorting or growling behind us. couldn't tell how close it was, all focused on running! we had to run through a little brush to the house and could hear it running through the brush with us. got tto the gate and jumped it. never saw what it really was. we figured it was a big boar or a panther or something. freaky close call!

i've lso ben chased by a shark!

Gotta love Florida!

Cruizing home late one night, a moron comes flying up next to me. He pulls out a gun and points it at my head and screams for me to pull over or else he was going to blow my f*****g head off! I ducked down, floored it and was gone! Ever try driving while crouched beneath the steering wheel? Freaked my s**t out. To this day I have no idea what his problem was. And damn glad I didn't stay around to find out.

Another incident where I consider myself lucky: My family and I were water tubing on Lake Patoka. I was on the tube trying to stand up when we hit rough water, I flipped off backwards, bounced about 3 times, then hit with a splat. I was stunned. What frightened me most was the night before I had a dream that I had broke my neck while skiing. When I landed all I could think about was that dream. Fortunatly nothing was broke, but I was stiff for days.

I've been involved in a few car accidents, and I thank God I was able to walk away with no scratches.

sept. of '99 me and some friends were going to a track rental on an early sat morning. im in my buddies 94' gt vert(almost bone stock and only had it for 3 mos)approx 10-15 miles from the track he fell asleep(apparently he was out late the night before and ony got 3 hrs of sleep before we left. little did i know). i was just spacing out when all the sudden the car swerved left he woke up in a panic, jerked the wheel hard to the right(all this at 85mph) the car crossed back over, he lost control, we slam into the ditch, the throttle hung open, drove up the other side of the ditch, sht over a fence(approx 30 yds from the road), flipped over 4 times, landed on the roof(we werent wearin seat belts thank god!)
and after we sort of calmed down we cawled out the pass window.
at the point we hit the ground the first time we both just laid down as far as we could and hoped for the best. if either of us would have had our seat belts on we would have been crushed when the car landed on its roof.

fortunately we both walked away from the accident with minor scratches and a headache.

if i dig up he pics from the crash ill post them up here. youd all wonder how we survived it.

thats as close to death asive ever been.

as far as drivin to the track goes, either i drive myself or if im drivin with someone else i make sure they get ALOT of sleep the night before!
