Default Still curious-- machined rockers

It's evident that an other-wise stock 5 liter cobra motor with e303 cam having the stock 1.7 rockers machined is because of the retainer and valve spring combo.

Anyone out there experienced this. I could go with 1.6 r's but I love the performance. Now I'm giving this a rest.
