Question 79-82 Oil pans

I am searching for an Oil pan that came orginally from Ford with the dipstick tube IN the pan. Fit 79-82 Mustangs. One for sale or maybe the OEM number would be a great help...Thanks

It's an older car motor that had the dipstick in the timing cover, trouble is, the rear sump pan I currently have is from an '82 Grand Marquis. Alas, no real provision for checking the oil. Not something I thought very hard about at first. Now I am.

Same prob with my motor. I'm going to adapt a dipstick tube that has a threaded fitting, into the oil level sensor in the D.S. back of the pan. Got the dipstick from a pail at the wreckers so I don't know what car it's from.

The sensor hole is below the oil level, but oil will flow up the tube. Just have to cut and make your own marks on the dipstick.

I found the same oil pan for a truck swap I did. If I remember correctly it was a V-8 pan for a 1961 Econoline van. The dipstick goes in the side of the pan. OOps! I don't remember if it was double sump. Probobaly not in 61
