Question Can't decide what to do next....

Ok when its all said and done I should have around $400-450 to spend. Here is what I was thinking about do. I really want to get started on my suspension so I was looking at the Chassis Brace Package from Maximum Motorsports. With the full length subframe connectors, it would run me $287. Or I was looking at getting the mass air conversion with a 73mm C&L unit to go with it. And the last choice was to just get the mass air conversion and a FMS 65mm throttle body and spacer. So out of these 3 choices, which do you think I would benefit from more? Or if you have any other suggestions I would love to hear them. Thanx in advance.

Chris

I'd get slicks before the that traction stuff. Your 2.330 60' is horrible. I'd bet you'd dip into the 14's with some 26x10" MT slicks. Try to save a little more and buy the slicks and a 100 shot nitrous kit. Probably well into the 13's. That 4000' elevation is a drag though.

I had thought about getting a set of BFG drag radials since I can get a discount on them at my wifes work, and get an extra set of 10 hole rims, but I don't make it to the track but maybe twice a year. I am looking more towards the open road racing once we can get a 3rd car so I can tear into the Mustang anytime I want. Right now its my daily driver and I have to have it. As far as the NOS thats about the only thing my wife seems to be against me getting. She saw a guy at the track blow parts of his motor everywhere using it. So, any other suggestions from anybody else too?

Heres what I would do, go ahead and get that mass air conversion kit with a 70mm throttle body, it wont hurt you, but when u get more mods it will greatly help. While you have that other crap out of the way, take those few bolts out of your intakes and port them yourself, just get a drimel and match it to the gaskets, if you do wash out the top intake well..This will help with the air flow, hell you could even port them heads too, for Free..no better horsepower than free horsepower..Good Luck!

Well I went ahead and ordered the mass air conversion, the 67mm EGR spacer and the 65mm TB. Got the TB and the spacer for $157. Do most used mass air conversions come with instructions do you know? I completely forgot to ask them today when I ordered it. I decided to go with the mas air incase I come across any good deals on something in the future. thanx for the replys.
