				 | Sonic Blue 2003 "new pics" What's up guys. Been very busy earning the extra ca$h needed to purchase the 2003. Should be going to purchase/order one next month. Anyway I like the "torch red" however I saw this monster and I am having second thoughts. Check it out. http://68.37.56.97/2003cobra/hoofbeat/ Guy from another forum picked up the car yesterday. I can't buy a black car. Temperature averages 100+ in the heat of summer. Don't want white, every car I have owned has been white. Lil help please.....

				 | Nice looking car dude! I was going to say black but.. I understand. Sounds like you like the red better, that's what I'd do. I think silver would look good too though. Hmmm... If I couldn't get black I would probably get the red. |

				 | Sonic Blue is the sweetest color available on a Mustang. Period. I like my Mineral Gray a lot, and it's pretty low profile, but when I get a 99+ Cobra in a couple years to add to my collection, it'll be Blue. |

				 | I agree with Unit that the blue is one of the best colors on a stang ive ever seen. I would go with the blue but the red is nice too but theres too many red mustangs out lol.

				 | If I were you, as my 10th grade history teacher always said. I'd get a red one with a rear spoiler, oh, and just curiouis, what part of Texas you livin in? I'm in Midland, and we had a black car, but I didn't like it, mainly because it was a Chevy Suburban and it got really hot. |

				 | As you can see I like RED. But the Sonic Blue is beautiful. I had a 2001 True Blue, they didn't have the sonic blue or I would have had it instead at that time.

				 | i've always loved all the colors, save for those weird ***** late 70's brown an puke greens. I am an artist, so i also dream up some impossible paint schemes. black is good if ya want to low body manintenence detail work. lighter colors show dirt an pollen easier. i've always thought silver pearl was a sweet color, i had it on my ol 5.0 crown vic an that body looked so neat an clean after a wash an wax, watchin that sun reflect off the body.(ah memories) i dunno man. shes yer snake, paint her primer black an think of somthing nutty. a chamleon flip flop color scheme, or a mystic paintjob would be boss

				 | Are you saying black is low maintanence?????? Nobody who knows anything about car care would make that comment. Black is THE WORST color to try to take care of. Every minor scratch, piece of dust, and imperfection shows up like it's under a magnifying glass on a black car. |

I live with this curse every day of my life, it seems everytime i look at my car, theres another scratch somewhere on it. Theres no way that I'll repaint it black when I finally get around to painting it.

				 | Have to a gree black is terribly difficult to maintain. Wife had a black LX four banger. She bought it when she lived in Sharon Springs, NY damn thing had no A/C. She said she didn't need A/C up there. Well, down in the West Texas town of El Paso, the sun melted the paint down to the metal within a year. Yes the paint fell off the car in big patches, it was not pretty. The car wasn't garaged like this one will be but still. She is also not the best driver (that's a polite way of saying she won't be driving MY car). Anyway dents from shopping carts and scratches from road garbage were visible from five feet away. It sucked. I love the way a black car looks. However it would be impossible to maintain for me. I plan on driving my car when I'm not working.

				 | Man, get the red, everytime I think of a cobra, I think red. Hey, did u guys know that those scoops on the hood are functional? They help take the heat out of the engine. I'd also try to find ways to lighten the car, hell, it wieghs over 3600 lbs, one of the heavest ones yet. Hehe, try to get it to my '66 coupe, 2600lbs-have fun.

				 | I personally drive a red 5.0, but if I would buy something new today I think I would have to go with the Mineral Grey. That is just a sharp color. From a Photographers point of view, when I walk the show field looking for cars to shoot, it has to stand out to me and for some reason mousy colors like the Mineral Gray grab my attention. Now this is an on going squabble between all the photographers, pretty much it boils down to personal opinion. What color of mustang can you see yourself driving in???? But if you are going for flashy, the blue is defiantly the color for you. The new red (I thought it was called Laser Red, been to way to many car shows lately) gets about the same rating from me as the blue. Anyway you go, you can't go wrong, its a Mustang . |
