				 | I am totaly impressed, especiallly with the 60ft on street tires. That is a better 60ft than I have ever gotten on street tires. Nice time, BTW: I hate you cause my track is still closed

RT: 511 60': 1.925 1/8: 8.224 MPH: 87.46 1/4: 12.733 MPH: 109.15 I trashed the 2nd slip but it was a 12.91X with a lot of spin! I think I did pretty good for a fully loaded automatic car with NO weight reduction, my only mods are Mac equal length headers and a Whisper high flow air lid ($600 worth of mods). Your car ran good, what exactly have you done to it? I see your sig but don't know much about the imports, my freind who was there saw you run (he was a Honda / Acura salesman) he made the comment "There's no way he's stock!" what did your car run stock?

anyway, like you i have headers, and intake would be similar to your lid, those 2 items cut about 6/10ths off the 1/4,and a stroked short block ,from 3.2L to 3.5L along with a bump in compression from 10.5 to 10.87:1 did the rest, a stock cl probablly runs 14.7-9 unfortunatly i never ran stock...oh ya tell your friend the block is from a honda oddessey he'll get a kick out of that

Here is yesterdays slip> http://hyperphoto.photoloft.com/view...438&i=10282575 Notice it says #14 http://68.56.66.243/~printerror/bmp1...s/Image27.html And here is a pic from the track yesterday, notice the #14 on my window! I have proof this time! the car on my slip was my friends '02 Z-28, he has a GM Hotcam, lid, Magnaflow 3" catback and tuning. He still has the stock manifolds and cats! his car is a beast to say the least, he ran a 12.40@115+ later on in the day all on the stock Good year 245's! the Cobra I ran in the pic ran a 12.5 he got me 60ft time pretty bad, but he couldn't pull me, we stayed even down the track, not sure what all he had done to it, it did have a healthy cam and skinnys, was a nice car!

				 | Old times past Just trying to kid you a little from old times past LSJ1. As low 13's seemed optimistic then, high 12's seem the same way now. But I still live back in the 60's, anywho. LOL. Rev

I hear the new Mach1 will be low 13's out of the box! thats LS1 territory, the '03 Cobra's are running in the 12's out of the box and low 12 to high 11's with a just a few tweeks! things have changed huh? Heck, when I first got into fast cars back in the 80's all I wanted was to hit 15's or if lucky a high 14!

I bet you still have a carburator too!! I'm with you jay, the performance that the cars have now is sometime unbeleivable untill you see it for yourself. I rememebr the car craft and hot rod magazines and they have articles on how to get into the 12's and now there are cars right off showroom floor that drive in and with minor mods run 12's and a few that runs 12's stock!!
