Default board questions

i dont know much about posting, but where do you all get the many smileys you use? i only see about a dozen on my left when i post, but you get tons of animated ones.. how? also how do i get a pic in my sig?

Go to www.google.com and search for some. Once you have found a smiley you like, copy the web address for that smiley. When your posting, type in the following code and a smiley will appear...

{IMG}internet web address for the smiley{/IMG}
***NOTE: replace the {} with [ ]

Here is a website to get you going. With this site, you just click on the smiley and the code will appear on the top of the screen for you. Just copy and paste

ah, thanks, i didnt realize they were actually little pictures.... how about the sig pic? i guess i could so something with the {IMG} but i notice everyones sig pics are hosted on mustangworks, where can i upload it to mustangworks? i dont have to use a users rides pic slot do i?

i got my sig pic to work sorta but its loading from one of my geocities accounts and they have limited bandwidth so it will screw up if enough people load it... how do i get it on mustangworks? oh yeah it doesnt actually load, you have to hit show picture... any ideas? i just added to my profile {IMG}http://www.wheremypictureis.com{/IMG} hmm

On the top of the page, there is a green link called "Free Webspace". If you sign up an account, MW will host the pic for you. In the mean time, I hosted it for you

Here is the link... just type it in your sig with the "IMG" code around it....

(don't forget to change the brackets from {} to [ ] )

If you did it correct, the end product should look like this....

beautiful, thank you. its not too big for a sig is it? i use a high resolution so it doesnt look it to me, but i dont want to piss anyone off.
