				 | 600CFM Edelbrock carb Would a 600CFM edelbrock carb be good enough to put on an 351 with a performer intake and full exhaust? Or am i cutting it to close? |

				 | Thats plenty. Theres 10 and 11 second NHRA stockers that run only a 600 cfm carb, A couple months ago one of the mustang mags run a carb test on their in house drag car with 351 (very built engine) and went quicker with 560 cfm Barry Grant carb over a 750

				 | Carter AFB versus Holleys My thoughts are that the Carter AFB or Edelbrock air valve actuated secondary carbs need a higher rated CFM than the Holley or Demon vacuum diaphram actuated secondary carbs. If it's a Holley or a Demon, I would use a 625 Road Demon. If you're set on an Edelbrock, I would use a 750 cfm carb. Rev

				 | im going for more of a streetable carb,, that is why i went with the edelbrock. But will the 600cfm carb cut it on my 351 engine? right now i have all this stuff for my engine that has to still be installed. 4.030" pistons performer intake full exhaust - 3" Mac stubbie headers stock heads(rebuilt) pullies and im thinking maybe a custom cam from crane will the 600 CFm carb be enough for this combo? |

				 | i've ran edelbrocks and hollys on the street ... both are good carbs.. and in your case i think the carb you mentioned would be enough for your motor. just make sure to tune it.

				 | with a 600cfm carb on your engine, you'll have alot better vacuum signal to the carb, better throttle response and torque where you need it, and torque where the power-band is on your engine.
