Post Former "DroneMaster" Users Please Help Me! Need Quiet Performance Muffler!!

I can't stand the drone anymore! I've got to get rid of the 2-chamber Flo's. I'm 34 years old and I don't need to impress the teenagers anymore.

Those of you who have had similar hearing damage, please give objective advice on the quietest performance mufflers available.

I'm leaning toward the Dynomax Ultrflows and Borla's. Any thoughts??

Please help!!

The Dynomax will take care of a lot of the drone.

Edelbrock RPM mufflers are the quietest mufflers I've ever had (and I've had plenty). They are much quieter than the magnaflows I have now. The magnaflows are tame in comparison to 2 or 3 chamber flowmasters, but they're louder than the Edelbrocks. I actually got rid of the Edelbrocks because they were too quiet.

I'd really like to try the Flowmaster 3 chamber Delta flows. They move the resonance to 3k or so, instead of 2k.

I have the Flowtech Warlock mufflers (on my 84) and they're pretty quiet even with an offroad H-pipe, i hear my headers louder than the exhaust and there's only a slight drone at 2,000rpm. These mufflers are normal "turbo" type mufflers. There's probably quieter mufflers out there, but the warlocks are alot quieter than i ever expected (they're about as loud as a stock new mustang GT -'99+ sytle), but have a nice tone but is not loud.

19COBRA95,

Hey, good to see a local in here!! Web City is my kind of town - lots of Stangs.

Thanks for the tip. Did you install these mufflers? If so what do you think?

I appreciate the replies guys. I'm leaning toward the Dynomax Ultraflow or the Edelbrock RPM.

God, I love this site.

I have 3 chamber flows with an Offroad H-pipe, I think this combo. has the best sound. With the 3 chambers and stock h-pipe it was as really quiet.
