				 | stock '88GT exhaust question Is there a gasket on at the factory collector where the "headers" and H pipe join? I have a small exhaust leak there, which results in a tapping sound. I crawled under and it is leaking there just a little bit. Can that be fixed by just tightening the collector bolts or is there a gasket between there. I was thinking maybe it's like the aftermarket shorty and H pipe connection where it's just a "ball and socket" type connection.

				 | Re: stock '88GT exhaust question So I should just be able to tighten the bolts? Although, I don't understand how they would work lose after all these years. I figure they would be rusted solid.

				 | Re: stock '88GT exhaust question Might loosen it 1st. If you hit the mufflers on a speed bump etc, it might have tweaked the alignment some..might loosen all the bolts, then re-tighten the collector bolts 1st.
