The proper NOS for my car (3.8L V6, 2000)?
Hey everybody, I've been looking all over the place trying to find a site that could help me with this...
What I have is a 2000 mustang, that is basically clean from the box. I've done no mods to it whatsoever and that's pretty much the limit on what I know about it. I've been looking into getting some NOS for my car and I searched and searched... I contacted the real NOS people, but their response was short and relatively unhelpful, it said that a 5123 Kit could work, as long as I had a vacuum-sensitive fuel pressure regulator. Now, I have no clue what a vacuum-sensitive fuel pressure regulator is or whether or not I have one and I damn sure don't want to buy a 5123 kit if I don't. So, my question to all of you....what kit do I use? Is the 5123 kit right for me? Do I have one of those crazy vacuum-sensitive fuel pressure regulators? Basically, what do I need to make NOS work in my car? And oh yeah, how hard is it to install? Just wondering. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone, for helping out a newbie... MBC |
