'00 Stang goes down to Accord!

When I was in Dallas the company that just hired me rented me a mustang. One of the guys who I'll work with has a V6 Accord. We had a small race and the Accord won.

But we looked cooler. It was a vey sharp looking dark blue V6 vert

I've never been in a convetable before, and it was cool to be able to drive around in February with the top down.

You must have been driving a 96-98 V-6, cause a 99 and up V-6 would have whooped his but

No, it really was a '00 V6. I thought that the Xmission had a fair bit of slipage. It was a nice car though. I would buy one for the wife if I had the money. The accord only won by 1/2 a car to 70-75mph and we were starting to gain. But we still lost. A 5 spd would have definately killed the accord. I wasn't driving either though, one of my future co-workers was. He's not a bad driver but...well he thought the V6 stang was really fast...compared to my 95 GT, this thing was a dog (obviously).

All in all I was really happy with the new stang. It handled well and was very comfortable.

i was really worried there for a second. I thought it must have been a bad a$$ accord but a auto v6 vert i hope the accord won.
