245/50's on 16" pony rims Will 245/50's fit properly on 16x7" pony rims? I ask b/c I want smaller overall diameter but not as small as 225/50's. ------------------ 1985 Mustang GT Edelbrock Performer intake, Edelbrock 600 carb, 9mm FMS wires, 15^ timing, no smog pump, 8.8 w/3.08

Those are great for the rear, but I'd go smaller up front. Maybe a 235 or so. Reason being is that the 245 is so wide that the sidewall can flex in hard or moderate cornering. If I had to get new tires again, they'd be 235/45s all the way around. ------------------ 1984 1/2 GT350 (#842 Hatchback w/ T-tops), 302HO, Comp cams Xtreme Energy cam, Carter 625cfm carb, Weiand Stealth intake, MSD distributor, MSD coil, FMS 9mm wires, 1 5/8" MAC unequal shorties, 2 1/2" MAC Prochamber H-pipe, Flowmaster 2 chambers, KYBs, 16"x8" 4 lug Cobra Rs, Falken 245/45ZR16s

Got 245/50's too. I think mine rub on sharp corners only on the left side, maybe my suspension is too soft. Maybe the noise isn't the tire rubbing. Could it something else? ------------------ 1993 Mustang GT - March Ram Air & Pullies, K&N, C&L 73mm MAF, Super Competition Hooker Headers, 2 1/2 in. mandrel bent cat back, High Flow H-Pipe, Pro 5.0 Shifter, 16* Timing Advance
